Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Handyman Network Ireland. THE SERVICE We operate a directory that introduces customers to independent handymen and maintenance companies. We are not a party to any contract for work: the scope, price, schedule and quality of work are agreed directly between you and the provider. Availability shown on profiles is an indication only, never a confirmed booking. CUSTOMERS Searching, saving profiles and sending enquiries are free. You agree to use enquiries honestly and lawfully and not to misuse provider contact details. PROVIDERS - Profiles are published only after administrator approval and while your membership is active (or waived/free). - The one-time registration fee is charged once per provider account, including if you change plan later. - Membership renews until cancelled. If payment fails, your listing is paused after the grace period; you can cancel before any renewal. - You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile, for holding the qualifications and insurance you claim, and for complying with consumer and tax law. - Verification badges appear only after an administrator has checked the relevant evidence. Do not present them as more than that. REVIEWS Only customers with a completed job can leave a review, and reviews are marked as verified on that basis. A verified review is evidence of a recorded job, not a guarantee of quality. Providers may reply but may not solicit or incentivise reviews to change them. CONTENT AND CONDUCT Do not upload unlawful, misleading or infringing content, or interfere with the service. We may moderate, hide or remove content, and suspend accounts that breach these terms. LIABILITY The service is provided "as is". We are not liable for the acts or omissions of providers or customers introduced through the directory. Our liability for the service itself is limited to the fees you paid in the previous twelve months. CHANGES We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the service. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
