Privacy policy

Handyman Network Ireland ("we") operates this directory. This policy explains what we collect and why. WHAT WE COLLECT - Customer accounts: name, email address and telephone number. - Provider accounts: identity and business details, public profile content, and supporting documents such as insurance or certification evidence you upload. - Activity data: profile views, contact-button clicks, enquiries, messages and reviews, so providers can see interest and the service works. HOW WE USE IT - To publish listings you approve and deliver enquiries to the right provider. - To notify you about enquiries, messages, membership and account matters. - Marketing emails are only sent where you separately opted in, and you can withdraw consent at any time. WHAT IS NEVER MADE PUBLIC - Your business or home address (unless you choose to publish one), your account password, and any identity, insurance or certification documents. Documents are stored privately and are accessible only to authorised administrators. - Enquiry and message content is visible only to you, the other party and authorised administrators. WHO WE SHARE IT WITH We do not sell your data. We share the minimum needed to run the service (for example hosting, email delivery and payment processing). Where you instruct a provider to contact you, the details you give in an enquiry are shared with that provider only. YOUR RIGHTS You can access or download your data from your dashboard at any time, and request correction or deletion by contacting the site team. We keep some records for the retention period where required for tax, legal or dispute purposes; deletion requests are confirmed by email before any data is removed. CONTACT Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to the contact address shown in the footer.
